Conor McCarthy, MSW Candidate

Conor is an empathetic and enthusiastic emerging social worker completing his MSW at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work. With three years of experience at Aging Resources of Douglas County, Conor has developed his skills in supporting clients through challenges like depression, anxiety, and social isolation.
Conor connects well with clients who have artistic or literary passions, using his English background and love for language to enrich therapy sessions. He guides clients through their emotional journeys, helping them find authenticity and purpose.
Dr. Swathy Sundaram "Dr. Sun", PhD, MPH, MSW, LSW
Specializing in children (8+), adolescents and adult women.
Fluent in Tamil.
Dr. Sun is dedicated to compassionate therapy, focusing on maternal and child health, and mental well-being. She has extensive experience in school social work, special education, and supporting women facing homelessness and domestic violence. With over 15 years in higher education as an adjunct assistant professor, she teaches public health, specializing in women's health and maternal and child health. Dr. Sun primarily focuses on maternal and child mental health, particularly perinatal mental health, including anxiety and depression. Her expertise also includes a range of women's health issues throughout life stages, like reproductive years and menopause.

Bethany Raab brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a clinical social worker. A graduate of the University of Denver with an MSW degree in 2006 and the University of Sioux Falls with a BSW degree in 2005, Bethany has dedicated her career to making a meaningful impact in the field of social work.
With nearly two decades of experience, Bethany's journey in the field has been marked by significant milestones. Since 2006, she has been diligently serving as a therapist, providing invaluable support to individuals and families in need. In 2010, Bethany transitioned into the role of a clinical supervisor, where her guidance and mentorship have shaped the careers of countless social workers.
In 2012, Bethany took a bold step by establishing her private practice, a testament to her unwavering commitment to the well-being of her clients. Fast forward to 2023, and Bethany's dedication led to the creation of the Center for Ethical Social Work Practice and Petal & Peak Mental Health...

Katherine "Kat" Worrall, a BSW student from Colorado Mesa University, is joining the CESWP team. During her time with us, Kat will concentrate on mezzo and macro practice areas while also gaining experience in micro-level interventions under the guidance of her supervisor, Bethany Raab.
