Bethany Raab is proof that stepping outside the traditional boundaries of social work can lead to transformative change. As the founder and CEO of Petal & Peak Mental Health and the Center for Ethical Social Work Practice, she has dedicated her nearly 20-year career to empowering social workers, dismantling oppressive systems, and advancing mental wellness for individuals and communities alike.

Bethany’s own licensure journey wasn’t easy—it took her four years to get licensed. Early in her career, she experienced supervision that was unsupportive, discouraging, and even outright harmful.

Katherine "Kat" Worrall, a BSW student from Colorado Mesa University, is joining the CESWP team. During her time with us, Kat will concentrate on mezzo and macro practice areas while also gaining experience in micro-level interventions under the guidance of her supervisor, Bethany Raab.
